(And I’m really sorry but 8 is all I’ve got. I can’t make more. If you have more than 8 playing, try dividing into groups to do it.) As a former teacher, and a mom, it makes me happy that more than just one child per game is a winner. I think it gives the kids more hope that they will be a lucky winner, which equals happier kids! Our party is a day away but I’m thinking of having a special candy as the winning prizes and then also give everyone a Candy Cane at the end of the game so everyone gets something. Stephanie A.: I took a Halloween Bingo game that we had purchased from Target with 24 different cards and made my own Christmas one from it for my daughter’s class of 22 students. I corresponded Christmas theme icons to each of the 30 different Halloween icons and then remade the 5×5 grid cards in Word with a candy cane letterhead & “Christmas BINGO” overlaid in WordArt. Then I printed them onto white cardstock. That way I knew the cards were all different and with the cardstock they will last. The teacher even offered to laminate them to keep for years to come! I’m using green and red buttons for the “dobbers” and making 2 sets of these for my great-great nieces. I made a hard plastic pillow box for the button storage and a Christmas box for the draw cards. I uploaded the pdf to Staples, who printed the 5 pages for C$2.30! Pennies are obsolete these days, but we found about 150 for use as markers – 18 each – will that be tenough? Also Thought of using Cheerios instead. Smarties would be more colorful, but maybe messy? Regarding names of cards – We know most of them (North Pole, Owl, Snowman, Angel, Present, Gingerbread Man, Gingerbread Lady, Sleigh, Star, Bell, Reindeer, Red tree ornament, Green tree ornament, Christmas Tree, Christmas Lights, Stocking, Wreath, Candy Cane, Snowflake, Holly, Elf, Santa. There are two others one with red hat – is that a Penguin? Other looks like a Penguin with Antlers! What are those last two? Thanks for doing this!
